Dr. Christian Caicedo

Dr. Christian Caicedo was born in Ecuador and grew up in the northwest Chicago-land neighborhood of Elmwood Park. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. Prior to that, he earned a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Science from Barry University in Miami, Florida.

Dr. Chris graduated with awards, and he was the only student in his class to win the Dr. Stanley Tylman Award for Exemplary complete oral treatment to the highest quality in patient care. Additionally, he was one of just two dental students in his class to win the Dr. Adalbert L Vlazny Award for Excellence in operative dentistry and clinical skills. He also received the Student Achiever award and the Student Leadership award for being the first Latino President of the student council at UIC College of Dentistry.

Dr. Chris has a passion for surgical procedures, and he continued his education post-graduation on implant dentistry, where he completed over 300 hours of extra training at the Chicago Implant Institute in order to help patients with dental emergencies and hopeless teeth. His current practice consists of oral procedures including surgical extractions, bone grafting for implants, root canal treatment, wisdom teeth removal, implant placement, crowns and veneers. Dr. Chris provides high quality care for his patients and enjoys helping them restore their smiles back to a healthy state in a comfortable manner.

In his free time, Dr. Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, cooking and getting ready for their baby girl due in June 2024. You can probably find him trying different cuisines at various Chicago-land restaurants, running lakeside, or at the dog park with his dog Levi.
